Guest Artist invitation by KOBELCO, Kobe Steel co, after the 1995 Great Hanshin Earthquake destroyed their steel factory in Osaka Bay. Gaston created the public sculpture titled- Lifeline for Kobe. A 6.4-meter cut and welded steel sculpture illuminated with neon lighting. Commissioned by KOBELCO, donated by the Artist.
